This section covers those species and a few cultivars that did not fit into the other sections. Many of the plants have dainty flowering sprays and provide an interesting contrast to the more refined hybrids. Flowering season, unless otherwise stated is from late summer into autumn. Many are mildew resistant. As a general rule they will need to be planted in an open sunny position for the best show of flowers. However, there are some which appreciate a more shaded aspect such as A. divaricatus.
