The catalogue has been divided into the five main sections which represent the divisions within Michaelmas Daisies. On this page you will find an over view of the group and a brief summary of each section. Further information, such as growing conditions, can be found on each page.
If there is a particular aster that you require but is not listed as available please contact us as it may be possible to propagate a plant specially for you. In most instances we would need an order by early March.
Orders of up to and including 50 plants can be placed using the online shopping cart or by email to paulpicton@btinternet.com.
Orders for despatch this year must be placed by the end of April, for asters not included in the Aster novi-belgii or Aster novae-angliae section orders should be placed by the end of March. For orders of more than 50 plants please contact us for a quotation and to place your order.

We send pot grown plants, mostly ex 9cm pots, well established, ready for you to plant out straight away, between the end of April and early June. Late orders may be arranged but the carriage will be more due to the size of many of the plants during the peak growing season. Please contact us for more details.
Plants are despatched by first class post or courier according to weight of order and/or destination. We will send you an invoice just before the plants can be despatched, and payment can then be made by cheque, if payment has not already been made.
Carriage for 2010 to mainland England, Wales and Southern Scotland will be:
£11.00 for up to 10 plants
£14.00 for 10-20 plants
£21.00 for 20-50 plants.
Orders to Northern Scotland and Europe are welcome but please contact us for a quotation.
Orders may also be collected from the nursery from May onwards, please see the Old Court Nurseries page for opening times, and please make a note of your intention to collect on your order.
While every effort is made to ensure safe delivery of plants they should be exmined on receipt and any complaint made within 7 days in writing. After this period refunds will not be considered. Liability is only up to the price of the plant.
